I love getting a facial at places like Clean Your Dirty Face. Having someone give you a facial is so calming, and something about the steam really lets you release and relax. I also love at-home facials with a Neutrogena face mask and my face roller that I enjoy with a book or while watching TV.
Recently I’ve been doing these to Renaissance lately because Cuff It, Alien Superstar, and America Has a Problem demand it. But I also have a playlist dedicated to busting a move to lift my spirits.
If you’re a regular on this blog, you know I love a good book. Escaping to a new world in a physical book is an unmatched form of self-care. Check out some of my favorite reads so far this year in this post.
As someone who lowkey hates working out and is a self-proclaimed “lazy girl“, I can’t believe I’m adding this to my list. That’s until I discovered Cyclebar and how fun it is. Being on that bike is so freeing and exciting. Dance classes have also been my go tos as a former child dancer.
I love a good list, it also helps me get the junk out of my head. This self-care step is always a great way to ease or calm yourself after a day that was overwhelming. What are 10 things you love, 10 songs you can’t stop listening to, or 10 things you want to try in the next year? Write those down and reflect.
What do you do for self care? Let me know in the comments.
