Equipment

Ingredients
  

  • Olive Oil
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • Crushed Red Pepper Flakes
  • 16-20 Large Shrimp Frozen
  • 1 pkg Asparagus Frozen or Fresh
  • Garlic Powder
  • Onion Powder
  • 1 tbsp Minced Garlic
  • 1 jar Pesto
  • Creole Seasoning
  • Black Pepper
  • Salt

Instructions
 

  • Bring pasta water to a boil and preheat oven to 400 degrees
  • Chop asparagus and season with olive oil, crushed red pepper, onion powder, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper and place in the oven for 20 minutes
  • Drain pasta, saving a cup of pasta water
  • Add frozen shrimp to now-empty pot and saute with butter, onion powder, garlic powder, crushed red pepper, creole seasoning, salt, and black pepper
  • Combine pesto, shrimp, roasted asparagus, rotini, and pasta water in the pot
  • Add to bowl and serve

Notes

I use frozen ingredients to make things quicker and simpler. You can also add a little parmesan to the top if needed.
