I love Christmas it’s easily my favorite holiday. The spirit of the season, the community of family and friends, exchanging gifts with loved ones, it’s just so joyous. But, determining how exactly to celebrate can be hard sometimes. Here are some fun things to do and good gifts to give based on what I want. Since I shared a few gift ideas, there are some Amazon affiliate links, which I make some money on if you purchase using my link. But I wouldn’t recommend something I wouldn’t get myself.
Things to Do
Holiday Lights Displays
drive or walk through a beautiful light display. It’ll definitely be worth it. Here in Atlanta, we have the display at Botanical Gardens and the Zoo to check out.
Christmas Bars
Even if you’re not a drinker find one with good-themed mocktails and enjoy the atmosphere.
Hot Cocoa Nights
get under a blanket with hot chocolate and games or a movie and just chill out. Some of my favorites for the holidays include Single All the Way on Netflix, live-action The Grinch, The Perfect Holiday, Polar Express, and the OG black and white Miracle on 34th Street movie.
Gift Ideas
If they like movement…
I’ve asked for fitness/dance class gift cards because I actually enjoy these things and would love for someone to help me pay for my hobbies. Try Cyclebar, a Pilates studio, or a yoga class.
If they’re a self-care girlie…
A spa day or facial gift card or certificate. Definitely one of my favorite gift ideas this year. I personally love a good chain like heyday or clean your dirty face but you could also do massages and facials at a local spa
If she’s a “gamer”…
This year I asked for skins for my switch lite but there are also plenty of cozy games to gift her this winter if she’s more of a casual gamer for the vibes. While it can be said I love the Life is Strange series, I just finished the latest installment.
