I know, I’m late butSo, I think that I’m in love. Now, I’ve been waiting on this Fenty line since it dropped that she had begun working on a make up line a few years ago. I honestly wasn’t expecting what we got, probably because most “celebrity” make up lines are more about novelty items than quality make up. But Rihanna, girl, you have changed the game. So I got to Sephora on Saturday (the line launched that Friday). And half of the foundation colors, trophy wife and the gloss were sold out. I was so disappointed but could only blame myself, I should’ve showed up sooner. But, I did get shade matched and got a free sample of a foundation (which was probably a blessing in disguise.) I’ve been mixing the Fenty Foundation into my make up routine occasionally and I’m really feeling it. I got matched for the shade 370.
I was worried because my skin is on the drier end of the spectrum and I didn’t want to look cakey or dry. But the finish on this is so nice and polished. I love this foundation and I’ll definitely be hitting the store to add the gem to my arsenal. I haven’t tried anything else from the line just yet but I’ll definitely be updating you all on my foray into the world off Fenty Beauty. Something worth noting is that the foundation is deeper once it’s blended into your skin so be careful when shade matching in the store.
It also lasted pretty great throughout the day, which is not something I can say for every foundation that I try. Here’s the finished look:
My complaints? That I went back to the store for a full size and it was all sold out (and so was everything else on my wishlist.) Rihanna it’s time for a restock!
Have you tried Fenty Beauty? What did you get and how did you like it? Let me know in the comments!
